My long absence

My long absence and maybe even departure. I will sometimes post pictures that is forwarding them from specijalne-jedinice.com. And Serbian Special Forces or SSF on Facebook. I made it into military engineering. Weapons specialist. A long way from where i wanted to be...after i finish it i am leaving for a course to become a officer for a different branch. I hope infantry or artillery. OR armored forces. From october my duty starts...till then training hard to become a infantrymen. We no need them back seats when the action hits :) Sa verom u Boga! Slava i cast Otadzbini! (With belief in God! Glory and honor to the fatherland).

North Serbia - Situation critical.

The Army has saved over 700 people for now together with the Serbian Special Police Forces. But situation remains critical as high wind speeds and snow are making HUGE snow dunes! The snow is now an amazing 5m high! The army is pulling out the heavy artillery against this thing now...There are people who are STILL TRAPPED IN THEIR VEHICLES AND HOMES 24 hours straight!
May God help our troops save those people...

Serbian Army - Heroics of the day...

31st of January 2014.
Huge snow storms hit the northern part of Serbia which is basically just flat terrain. The result? Snow dunes. People were stuck for 15 hours on the roads in 2m high snow dunes. Civilians were running low on food and water in the small towns in the flat fields. The Serbian Army intervened and helped evacuate over 150 people. Army trucks, helicopters and foot soldiers were dispatched. With shovels in hand and tow tanks to tow the stranded vehicles. The helicopters did most of the heavy lifting.
