Not all heroes carry a military uniform.

During the bombings of 1999, many firefighters , paramedics and civil protection units were under heavy fire...In Belgrade fires were a big danger it was always engulfing buildings and threatening to spread to other apartments. The firefighters fought the flames even under NATO Bombing. Many firefighters were wounded or killed because bombs were dropped on top of them as well.
